Look Who Is 2

Kaitrynn had her second Birthday yesterday! It was a huge milestone for our family. We have dreamed of this day since her birth. It was an emotional day for the Mom to say the least. I feel blessed and grateful that Heavenly Father had enough trust in me to be her Mother, and leave her here on this earth for Brennen and I to lead her back to his presence. She is a sweet little spirit with an AWESOME personality. She adores her Big sister Brooklynn so.... much! She calls her "BA"! I couldn't have made it through the last 2 years with out the love of my family and friends. I want to Thank Kelly my little sister from the bottom of my heart. She has made our Journey so... much easier and more comfortable for Brennen and I. Those of you that don't know Kelly? She is a nurse Practitioner ( a little bragging here She will be have her Doctorate in Nurse Preconditioning at Christmas). I cannot express in words the gratitude I have for her and her expertise. She is an amazing woman. Kel I love you more than you'll ever know. Thanks to My Aunt Holly for all she has done. Holly always puts others before herself. She had not one selfish thing about her. She has been there any minute she could to help out in anyway. My parent have also been a great support. I love quote "Burdens are light if everyone lifts". This is so true.. I have seen this and have felt this the last two years. My amazing friends that have come to me, you know who you are! Thanks, so much for all your help, love, support, encouragement, your many prayers and last but, not least your understanding. I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I am grateful for the atonement. I think we can all learn about the atonement from different trials in our lives. I am grateful for a wonderful husband who has stuck by my side through it all. I love you Babe more than you'll ever know. I am grateful for my girls! I hope that I can be the Mother that they will admire, respect and appreciate through the years. I am grateful for my Mother even though at times we still don't see eye to eye :). My Dad has given me great strength through his examples. He lives a righteous life and many people admire him beyond words! I for one he is a great man of Integrity and lives the gospel to the fullest. He is a wonderful example to my Husband and an awesome Grandpa to his girls! I am grateful for the chance that I have to stay home with my girls. This is a true true blessing. Know that I love each of you and are grateful for all that you have done for our little family. Please continue to pray for us! We love you all!!!

September 11, 2009

"where were you when the world stopped turning that September Day"? I will never forget where I was. This was a life changing event for us in our own lives as well as our country. We have moved forward since that day? Have we moved forward in a positive or negative way? It depends on who you talk to. I am grateful for all of our service men and women both past and present. I am grateful for the free country that we live in and the opportunity we have to be free. Where we have the right to our own religion, speech and so forth. I am grateful that women are respected in this country. As we continue our journey in Iraq and Afghanistan may the lord continue to watch over the men and women that are serving. Thanks for all you do ! GOD BLESS THE USA !!!

SWIM, BIKE, Run & What do you have???

Yesterday I labored hard on Labor Day! I entered Bountiful's first ever Triathlon. Ahhhh what can I say? It was another one of those great life experience. I did the Sprint Triathlon. We started with the swim (400 meters 16 laps), Biked ( 10 miles ) and Ran ( 3 miles). I did it in under 2 hours. I was happy about that since this was my first and NO it will not be my last. I love that you get to run around and do different events. It brought me back to my swimming days. Thanks to my Dad for taking photos of me and being my support. Brennen was gone for the weekend Deer Hunting. I he had already planned on going on this hunt, and then I decided to do this. It worked out great for the both of us. We both had a great time doing two different things that we love. I am grateful for my body and that I have the health and strength to do the things that I have never thought I would do. Women can get so.. down on themselves because of society and what we are "Suppose to look like". Like Rachel Coleman sings in the SIGN TIME VIDEOS "I am proud to be me".
