We have A 3rd Grader

I cannot believe that Brooklynn is in the third grade. She is half way through her Elementary school years! That's hard for this Mom to believe. She has Mrs. Strong and seems to like her so, far this year. She was excited to go back and so,was I. I was excited to get back into a routine. Brooklynn kept saying "Mom you just want me out of the house". It's fun to have one in school and one at home.

We did it !!! Provo Half Marathon!!!

My sister Kelly challenged anyone of us to run with her, this last weekend in the Provo Half Marathon. I took the 13.1 mile challenge and completed it. This was my sisters second Marathon and my first. I set to goals when starting out. 1. To run the entire race with out stopping and 2. To try to run it under 3 hrs. Both goals were met. I ran the entire race with out stopping. I also ran it in 2hrs and 53 minutes and 25 seconds. This is a great time for a 35 year old woman :). I can't even begin to explain the feeling and the since of accomplishment. It was a beautiful run! I am grateful for both of my sisters for their help and encouragement. I have already been on line looking at other races and other options. What will be the next challenge! I am addicted to running never thought I would ever be a runner when I started training in March!

Tomorrow I leave for Provo to get rested up for my BIG HALF MARATHON RUN ! It is on
Saturday morning at 6 AM the bus leaves to drop us off at 4:30 am :). It is suppose to be a beautiful run and one of the ones that a lot of people attend. I am running it with my sister Kelly. My sister Tobey ran her first 1/2 last month. Wosnik girls rock! I am getting excited. I think the anxiety has left pretty much this week. Stay tuned for the details and photos of race day!
