Kaitrynn and Mommy

Yesterday we celebrated my Moms 56th
Birthday. It was a great afternoon about 60
degrees. We had fun in the sun, but had to
make sure baby didn't get sunburned. Kaitrynn
update she has had a rough couple of weeks with
this darn gas. She has been on her feeding tube for
almost 3 months. This last week we have taken her
off totally. She seemed to do worse on it, than when
she was on. The Doctor said that we will go back to it
at some point, but mabey her gut needs a break at
night. She is drinking enough durning the day.
Yesterday was a great Milestone. She took 37 oz
of formula throughout the day. That was from
1:00 am to 11 :30 pm. This is the most she has
ever taken by moth up to this point in her little
life. What to do about the gas? The Dr's have
decieded that we are going to have a PH Probe done.
Then it also looks like we are heading for a NICIN (sp?).
This is where they will go in and remove her spleen from
her stomach and take her stomach and wrap it aroung her
asophagus. This will help A LOT with her reflux and the
gas. This will most likely be done the end of May first of June.
This is what the proffesionals are leaning towards. As a Mom
it is hard, very difficult to see your child suffer and go through
so much, but if it is going to make her better then it's worth it
as hard as it is on Mom. I am so grateful for my family and all
the help they have given me. I am grateful for all the prayers.
Keep them coming. I am grateful for this gospel and the peace it
gives me in my life. I love all of you have a great week. Pray that
Kaitrynn will gain the weight she needs. She is down from last weight
12lbs 10 oz. We need her to go up not down. I love ya all !!!!!!!!!

Drs. Appointment Today

Kaitrynn had a Dr's appoinment
today. She is DOWN in weight. She
has dropped 1 ounce. Yes I know
1 ounce isn't much, but they need to
see her going up not down. She
weighs 12 lbs 10 oz. This is the
PLAN the middle of May she will
go to Primary Children's Hospital
and have a PH Probe put in for 24hrs.
This will determine how much acid she
is producing and if a Nicin needs to be
done. She will have to stay in the RTC
unit while she is there for under 24 hrs.
She has really bad gas and they need to
see if it is gas or if it is acid. So Yeah we
are back to "HOTEL PRIMARYS" :( .
I am grateful that she is healthy and
here with us despite the obsticles.

A Picture Can Say A Thousand Words

When I look at this sweet picture of Kaitrynn
I can't help, but think of all that this little one
has been through thus far. I think this photo
tells it well. She is such a sweet baby and
you would never know what she has been
through when you see her. She is such a
sweet girl with such a sweet spirit. I am
so grateful I have the chance to be her
mother. I love you Kaitrynn

Thanks to my sister Tobey she introduced me

edit them. I took this picture of Kaitrynn today as
a practice. I think it turned out pretty cute!!!!

Naptime For Kaite

Yesterday I put Kaite in her chair, so she could
take a nap. She slept for a long time. One of the
times I was watching her, this is how I found her
asleep. It was cute!! I had to get a photo. She is
doing good. I love my 6 1/2 month old girl!!!!!

Annie At Kingsbury Hall 2008

The girls arrived home about 11:45 pm. Brook
had to show Mom all of her things that she got.
She wore her Annie shirt to bed and slept with
the dog also. She went to bed at 12:15 am with
her eyes still wide open, and beaming from her
great night on the town.

My sister Kelly called me last week and asked
me if she could take Brooklynn to see Annie
at Kingsbury Hall. Brooklynn was ecstatic
when I asked her if she wanted to go. "Mom
what am I going to wear she said." She was
so excited to go out on the town for the night
with her Aunt Kelly. Kelly thanks so.. much
for giving Brooklynn a chance like this. She
will remember this for a life time. Kelly you
are so special to her and she loves to be with
her Aunt Kelly!!!!

Conference Weekend 2008

This is our friends Connie and Ines Flores. They are from Reedley, California where I grew up. She was my Secretary at my High School. I never spoke to her about the gospel, but through my example she joined the church in 1992. Ines joined the church a short time later through the love of his wife. They were sealed in the Las Vegas Temple in 1995. We have remained very close friends. My girls call them Grandma and Grandpa Flores. We were able to attend the Saturday morning session of conference. I had never been to a asolum (sp?) Assembly before. It was neat to be able to sustain President Monson in person and to feel of their love for us. I was also able to attend Sunday morning session. I was able to go with my convert that was a lot of fun. It was great to feel the spirit and feel of the love they have for us. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. With out them I wouldn't have been able to make it through the last few months of my life with the sickness of Kairtynn. I know my Father lives and loves me.
