Our Christmas Holiday season was filled with many holiday surprises. We were blessed in many ways and with many things! We had someone do the 12 days of Christmas for our family. We all enjoyed that so, much! We had 2 Secret Santa experiences. That was a real treat! This is the first Christmas where Kaitrynn understood what Christmas was about! She loved opening gifts!! Here are some photos of our fun time!

Thanks Secret Santa
Tonight the girls and I went out to do a little service for our neighbor. She is in the same shoes I was in 3 yrs ago. A baby with severe reflux and won't take a Binkie. We were not gone even 30 minutes. The Girls and I come home to find a package at our door. We couldn't come home and make the girls not open it. IF I was alone I would have been able to hide it from them. I didn't think to get my camera out till after.
Thanks, who ever you were from the bottom of our hearts! They loved the gifts can you tell? Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends! We love you all!!

Sacrament Meeting With Thomas S. Monson
We had a great thing happen to start off our week. Let me back track a little. The Doctors have advised us to keep Kaitrynn home from Church and places with large groups of people, so she can stay healthy. She seems to have a low immune system. We have been keeping her home and since the end of September from those places and she has been one healthy girl. We are so grateful for that! I have to admit it feels funny not going to the Dr. all the time. Hey I am not complaining one bit.
This past Sunday I stayed home with Kaitrynn and Brennen took Brooklynn to church. Brennen texts me to inform me that President Thomas S. Monson was on his way to spend the sacrament meeting in our ward. WOW!!! I was jealous I have to admit, but I quickly reminded myself that I was home doing what I was suppose to be doing. The prophet's Daughter Shari Dibbs, Son Bought a home in our ward about 8 months ago. I had no idea the relation when I heard their name. Anyway they blessed there new baby on Sunday!
Brennen was asked by one of his security guards to be an Usher. He was able to shake President Monson's hand twice that day. Brooklynn was able to watch him get out of his car. She thought that was pretty cool. He gave his testimony at the end of the meeting.
When Brooklynn got home she came into my room and I asked her how it was? She had a huge smile on her face and her eyes as size as quarters and said Mom that was so WICKED ( that 's a cool word for AWESOME). She was laughing and crying as she was telling me that. She came and gave me a hug and cried and said what A neat experience it was. She was filled over filled with the spirit it was neat for a Mom to see! Later that afternoon she said Mom did that really happen today it felt like it was a "Dream it doesn't seem real". I am so grateful for the gospel for the chance we have to have experiences like this in our lives.

Immunologist Update on Kait
We went yesterday for a follow up with Dr. Jones. He was concerned on some blood work that had been done at 3 months of age. He was concerned with the function of her T cell. Also her red blood cells appear smaller than they should be. He went ahead and had a blood draw once again yesterday. Poor little Kaitrynn knows what is coming before we get there. The thing that is concerning to him is her MCV (when you do a CBC). The past blood draw they were low and they continue to be low! Will have to see what the test come back like next week. We are waiting for the rest of the results next week. Some of this could also be genetic or from her heart condition she was born with. Faith is so hard at times or do I say patience!!!

Poor Kaitrynn one thing after another
All I have to say is that she is a trooper!!! She woke up 2 nights ago with a fever. She ended up in the ER last night! She has some kind of infection in her body! It wasn't apparent to them where? All the blood work indicated was infection. They gave her fluids and some IV antibiotics and sent us home. We had to follow up with our DR. today! They are waiting for the blood tests to grow to see what the infection is. The preliminary test show E. Coli, but we will have to see if that grows more. She had a high white band count at 21. She is doing much.... better today, but will have to stay on an antibiotic through the weekend until we know what kind of infection she had. We may not know where it was. All I know is she was so... sick and it hit her fast and hard. The Dr. today is refereeing me to another specialist that deals with immune Systems. We shall see what that holds in store for us!!!
