Happy 4th of July

Our little family spent the 4th of July with my sister Kelly in Provo. We got up Saturday morning and went to the Freedom Festival Parade. It was a lot of fun. Kaitrynn loved the balloons. Brooklynn loved the floats. We went back and had naps then to dinner and we set off our own fire works. Brooklynn got in the car that night and said this has been the "Best 4th of July Ever". Thanks Kelly for your hospitality. We had a lot of fun!!! Happy Birthday America!!!

Baby Enstein here I come

Kaitrynn had to have a sleep study at the hospital last week. The nurses were dying when they saw
her hair like this. They said she looks like baby Enstein, you have to take a photo. I thought it was
cute myself. All the tests have come back normal that she has had. It doesn't explain the stomach pain.
She has slept better this week though. I am grateful that tests have been normal!

Life is so..... uncertain ????

Kaitrynn's test came back all normal. This is one frustrated Mom, I don't know who to believe or who not to believe. All I know is that I have a baby that screams at night. If I have 3 GI docs that are at a loss? Who knows what to think. I have heard everyone's opinion's and I have tried all of the suggestions. I am about ready to scream as my 8 year old is screaming at me. I took her to the library and the dollar store and this is what I get. O the joys of Motherhood.
what's next?? I guess I am being passed off to the nuero surgery docs? Let's see how many tests they will run and tell me that they are all normal.

Kaitrynn update

So... the MRI has finally come back. It showed that her spine (tethered cord) hasn't changed since the last MRI when she was 3 months old. The Question is does she still have one, and this is causing all of the pain? They would like to do another MRI on her brain to rule out anything there? The plan for tonight is do a sleep study. The results from that woun't come back until Monday. They are doing an EEG to see if she is having seisures at night? She is also being tested for Restless leg sydrom. This is treated by giving the kids more iron. They are usually low on iron to start with, but not enimic. Kaitrynn's blood test did come back with low levels of iron. They hope this is the issue? I am so... tired and have been told this is it time and time again? I am not holding out hope that this is it:). The sleep study will see if she has RLS, seisures and we will see if she has a stomach episodes or not. She was so.. tired last night from the drugs they gave her for the MRI she slept like a champ last night. Of course I didn't because I was waiting for her to do her thing. They say this sleep study is a reaaallll... fun test. Plan for tomorrow is possible MRI on the Brain and an ECHO to check her heart. She already has a heart issue that is in good standing, but she needs an ECHO every few months. Stay tuned as Paul Harvey would say "For the rest of the story". Thanks to all of you for your comments and prayers.
