Growing Kids Things Are Always Moving

My girls are growing and changing faster then I would like as their Mother. Brooklynn is now 9 and feels safe to stay alone while I run to the store. She has done it a couple of times now and seems to love the independence. She is a good girl and I have never had an issue trusting her home alone. Kaitrynn is signing all the time, she knows about 137 signs now. Today I had a signing time video on. She said "MOM" I turned around and she was signing the opening song word for word along with the video. She thought she was pretty slick. She can recognize many letters of the alphabet. We were out the other day and parked next to a Texeco gas station. She said "MoM O ". She knows about 10 letters and will tell you the ones she knows when you ask her. She is one smart cookie as my Nanny would have said. I am grateful that she is doing well with her learning. Her health is still up and down. She doesn't eat and have any will to eat. Part of this is her age and the other part is no desire for food. Some days I am lucky if I get 2 gold fish down her. She lives on her special formula. That what keeps her going. I mentioned it to the Dr. today and her response was ahhh. We are still trying to get her tummy to be calm at night,so Mom and Dad can get some sleep along with Kate. We are grateful despite the obstacles that she is here in our family. She has got the sweetest personality.

The Day and Life Of a Two Year Old

I cannot even begin to tell you how blessed I feel. I get the chance to stay home with my 2 beautiful girls. Kaitrynn is so much fun to be with during the day. She keeps me hopping to say the least. She is so.. into Elmo, she seems to watch his shows over and over each day. She also enjoys signing time. She is 2 now and can sign 134 words. She is amazing. Grandpa and Grandma always have to ask me the signs that she is doing. Most of the time they are lost. She is starting to recognize letters. The other night when Brennen came home from work, she pointed to his shirt and said "Dad R ". She knows about 5 letters now and tells them to me whenever she sees them. I love my little peanut!

Tamara Harris Photography

I have made a photography website as of today. Check it out! It has been a little nerve racking exposing your work to the world. I have really only been working on this Talent since April. I have always had a love for photography, but would like to see if I can make a small business out of it. I want to be cheaper than most photographers out there, so people can afford to capture "one Moment In time". I have felt that this has come at a perfect and much needed time in my life as well as for my families. The address is tamaraharrisphotography.blogspot.com I have added a few photos, so you can see a few here as well. Let me know if you need photos done for the upcoming holidays. I would be more than happy to do them for you!
